PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an engine tool applicable to change in an attaching angle or position, and improved in working efficiency of cutting operation. SOLUTION : The engine tool comprising a pole hedge trimmer includes a tip tool part, an engine generating rotational power which drives the blade of the tip tool part, and a body transmitting the rotational power generated by the engine to the blade. The sliding surface of the tip tool part facing the body is provided with a locking hole 600 and a locking hole 602. The locking hole 600 is covered with a resin plate 604, and the locking hole 602 is formed at a metal part 63 of the sliding surface. The sliding surface of the body facing the tip tool part is provided with an end terminal 60 connected to an engine generator via a lead wire 64. Power is supplied to the engine from the engine generator when the end terminal 60 is secured in the locking hole 600. When the end terminal 60 is locked on the locking hole 602, the engine generator is connected to an earth, and thereby power supply to the engine is cut off. COPYRIGHT : (C)2011, JPO&INPIT
