PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for controlling evaporation of a liquid component contained in a glass container in which the evaporation of the liquid component contained in the container can be controlled by the change of the glass container component, and provide the glass container.
SOLUTION : An oxide validated for far infrared radiation is contained in a glass container based on silica as the component, and thereby the evaporation of the liquid component contained in the glass container is controlled. As the oxide validated for the far infrared radiation, a transparent oxide (titanium oxide, zinc oxide) and a transition metal oxide (iron oxide, manganese oxide) of the colored (absorbing visible light) are contained as main additives. Further, a rare earth oxide (neodymium oxide, cerium oxide) for coloring is contained by 5-40 mass%.
