PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a novel nitride red phosphor capable of easily controlling a composition of a phosphor amount and improving homogeneity and reproducibility and a method for producing the same, a white light emitting diode having high color rendering properties and high luminous efficiency, and a white LED package utilizing the same.SOLUTION : The nitride red phosphor represented by formula 1 below is provided. Formula 1 : Ba2-xRexAlySi5-yN8(wherein a molar ratio has a value satisfying the following : 0.0001≤x≤1.0 and 0.001≤y≤5.0. Re is at least one or more elements selected from rare earth elements or transition metal elements). Having high color rendering properties and luminous efficiency, the white LED is available for lighting applications requiring high color rendering properties and greatly contributes activation of related industries, such as related techniques, that is, an LED production technique and a phosphor production technique, etc.COPYRIGHT : (C)2010, JPO&INPIT
