PURPOSE : A light emitting device is provided to improve luminescent intensity and a luminescent property by using Copper and Alkaline earth metal as a host lattice component.CONSTITUTION : A light emitting device(6) comprises a plurality of light emitting cells which are serially connected to on a single substrate(1) in parallel. A fluorescent material(3) comprises a compound which is activated with at least one rare earth element. The fluorescent material emits light which has a different wavelength compared to absorption light by absorbing a part of light emitted from the light emitting device. The fluorescent material uses Copper and Alkaline earth metal as a host lattice element. The light emitting device is mounted on an electrode pattern(5) through a conductive adhesive(9).
