PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electrode having a long service life and an excellent function that is used for such an electro-chemical device and a sensor as a solid electrolyte type fuel cell, using a solid electrolyte of a perovskite-type oxide containing barium, taking most advantage of the electrolyte property. SOLUTION : An oxidation electrode for an oxide solid electrolyte composed of a perovskite-type oxide containing barium and a rare earth metal element, barium and lanthanum, and a perovskite oxide containing Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, is used.
