PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain further improvement of an output voltage, in a solid oxide fuel cell with an air electrode structured by perovskite type oxide. SOLUTION : The solid oxide fuel cell includes an electrolyte 101 consisting of a material of a zirconia system, and a fuel electrode 102 formed on one side of the electrolyte 101. And also, an air electrode 103 is formed on the other side of the electrolyte 101, and consists of a metal oxide (perovskite type oxide) of a perovskite structure equipped with a rare earth, copper or nickel, cobalt and manganese. For example, the air electrode 103 consists of a sintered body of perovskite type oxide expressed in the formula : LnE(1-y-x)CoxMnyO3 (Ln is a rare earth, E is copper or nickel).
