A high-temperature composite additives for the nickel hydrogen rechargeable battery which is to resolve the problem for improving the conversion efficiency of the trickle charge. The said additives comprising randomly two groups/kinds of the element or the compound of rare earth; the element or the compound of IVB group element; and the element or the compound of IIA group element, each weights 0.1-10 share, and nickel hydroxide weights 100 share. By adding the high-temperature composite additives, the conversion potential of the positive electrode active material under the high temperature is decreased significantly, the over-voltage of emitting oxygen is increased compared with the current technology. Thus the conversion efficiency of the trickle charge under the high temperature is increased 20-50%, and the battery used normally in the environment of 80? can be reached and the application field can be broadened, and the operation is easy because the manufacture process and the structure of the battery are the same as those of the normal nickel hydrogen battery.
