PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a glass composition which has a low dielectric constant, a low softening point and high water resistance and is suitable for a display panel. SOLUTION : The low softening point glass composition comprises B2O3, R2O (R is one or more of Li, Na and K) and Ln2O3 (Ln is one or more metals selected from rare earth metals and Al) at the least but does not contain lead substantially.
