PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a water purifying method for a water purifying plant or the like by which various kinds of raw water can be efficiently purified and clarified by a natural purification system referring to the natural environment. SOLUTION : The water purifying method for the water purifying plant or the like is composed of : a purifying stage before water intake where the rocks of furnace earths such as tourmaline ore, granite and talc are injected or installed in a floating state into water or to a water face of a reservoir, a dam or the like for water intake to the water purifying plant; a weir purifying stage where a weir obtained by mixing the crushed stones, powder or the like of tourmaline ore, granite, talc or the like having minus ion and far-infrared effects and molding the mixture into concrete, mortar or the like is installed in a water intake port performing the intake of the water in a reservoir, a dam or the like into the water purifying plant; a channel well purifying stage where the rocks of furnace earths such as tourmaline ore, granite and talc are injected or installed in a floating state to a channel well performing the intake of the water of a reservoir, a dam or the like into the water purifying plant; a filtering stage where the granules of tourmaline are mixed and filtered through a filter layer of a filter bed in the purifying plant; and a stone installing stage where stones subjected to tourmaline ball processing in are installed in a water purifying basin and a water distribution basin in the water purifying plant.
