PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a high frequency electric knife for endoscopes easily and safely performing a treatment for injecting mucosal protrusion liquid to the back side part of the mucosa as well as a mucosal incision treatment performed by energizing a high-frequency current without reinserting/re-pulling out a treatment instrument relative to the treatment instrument guide tube of an endoscope. SOLUTION : The both of internal/external diameters of the distal end section of a flexible sheath 1 are formed into a tapered tubular shape, the distal end of a bar electrode 3 is formed with a substantially hemispherical tip electrode 4 having a diameter larger than that of the bar electrode 3, the bar electrode 3 is axially extracted/retracted by the operation from the proximal end of the sheath 1 to extract/retract the tip electrode 4 relative to the distal end of the sheath 1 and, the tip electrode 4 and the internal circumferential section of the sheath 1 are configured to form a clearance for passing medical solution with the tip electrode 4 retracted in the sheath 1.
