PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a contact safety protective device for a shredder. SOLUTION : In the contact safety protective device for the shredder equipped with a function circuit part 31 for the control of a document shredding machine part 1 and a continuity touch panel 32, the function circuit part 31 includes a power supply unit 33, a motor drive circuit unit 2, a control circuit unit 3 and a contact detection circuit unit 4 and the control circuit unit 3 is connected not only to the document shredding machine part 1 through the motor drive circuit unit 2 but also to the continuity touch panel 32 through the contact detection circuit unit 4, and the power supply unit 33 is connected to the control circuit unit 3 and the motor drive circuit unit 2, The contact detection circuit unit 4 includes a bio-voltage control switch circuit 34 for detecting the bio-current of the human body and a contact switch circuit 35. The bio-voltage control switch circuit 34 is connected to the continuity touch panel 32 and the control switch circuit 3 is connected to the earth switch circuit 35 while the earth switch circuit 35 is connected to the control circuit unit 3.
