PURPOSE : A flocculant using self-cohesion of unit particles and a method for producing the same are provided to offer property of the mineral raw materials comprising a water-containing aluminum silicate particulate as a main body and superior cohesive effect.CONSTITUTION : A flocculant includes a unit particle as a main component. The unit particle is gained by smashing a mineral particle aggregate including water-containing aluminum silicate particulate consisting of efflorescence of earth or rock. The water-containing aluminum silicate particulate among the unit particle remains. The unit particle has self-cohesion property and exists in underwater. The unit particle in underwater is a scattered or a loose association state. A ph adjusting agent is added to maintain the scattered or the loose association state of the unit particle.© KIPO 2009
