PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To decrease the quantity of radioactive substances which reach the ground surface, by restraining organic radioactive substances in radioactive waste that has been buried in the ground from moving. SOLUTION : In a radioactive waste disposal container 1 for accommodating radioactive waste, a member provided by surrounding it is made to contain at least one kind of either rare earth oxide or zirconium oxide to make the organic radioactive substances adsorbed.
