PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a flux-cored wire for gas shielded arc welding and a welding method that improve fatigue strength by using a flux-cored wire which excels in wire drawing, high oxygen, high nitrogen, and low slag without using expensive elements and thereby lowering the Ms point of a weld metal at low cost, and that materialize superior highspeed weldability, low spatter, low slag, and arc stability.
SOLUTION : The flux cored wire contains, by mass, 0.16-1.50% C, 0.30-1.50% Si, 0.50-5.00% Mn, ≥0.020% O, 0.0020-0.0400% N, ≤0.030% P, ≤0.030% S, ≤0.15% Ti, ≤0.20% Al, ≤0.100% F and Ca each, ≤0.200% total of K, Na and Li, ≤1.00% Mg, ≤0.50% REM (rare metal element), <2.00% each of Ni, Cr, Nb, V, Mo and Cu, ≤0.0100% B, with the balance consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities and with a flux ratio of 7-30%.
