PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a catalytic cracking catalyst which has high cracking activity and can efficiently boost the production of high-octane FCC gasoline without lowering the yield of gasoline and to provide a method for manufacturing the catalytic cracking catalyst and a method for catalytically cracking hydrocarbon oil by using the catalytic cracking catalyst.
SOLUTION : The catalytic cracking catalyst contains crystalline aluminosilicate, a binder and a clay mineral at fixed ratios among them. The content of both of sodium and potassium of this catalytic cracking catalyst is ≤0.5 mass% in terms of oxides (Na2O and K2O), the content of a rare earth metal is ≤3.0 mass% in terms of its oxide (RE2O3 (wherein RE is the rare earth metal)) and the mass ratio of (RE2O3+Na2O+K2O)/(crystalline aluminosilicate) is ≤0.1. The amount of xenon to be adsorbed per 1 g this catalytic cracking catalyst is ≥2.20×1020 pieces when measured under such a condition that the adsorption temperature is 25°C and the partial pressure of xenon is 650 torr. The method for catalytically cracking hydrocarbon oil comprises a step of using this catalytic cracking catalyst.
