PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To prepare a resin mixture which generates minus ions good for health, and to provide a building material partially having the resin mixture. SOLUTION : A resin composition is prepared by mixing 100 wt.% of a resin with rare earth element-containing mineral powder having a particle diameter of <=200 μm or a ceramic prepared by calcining the mineral powder preferably in an amount of 10 to 3 wt.%. The resin composition is used as a coating material or an adhesive to produce the building materials such as a decorated board or a woody fiber board.
