PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a fluoride particulate-dispersed liquid which satisfies compatibility with an organic binder and an organic solvent, and can form a reflective film of high quality. SOLUTION : The production method comprises : a stage where the gel or sol of fluoride colloidal particles is produced by adding a fluorinating agent to a solution of an alkaline-earth metal salt; and a stage where the gel or sol is added to a solution of a carboxylic anhydride, so as to remove moisture and by-produced salts. In this way, a fluoride particulate-dispersed liquid in which fluoride particulates with the primary particle diameter of ≤100 nm are dispersed into carboxylic acid can be obtained.
