PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth magnet for exhibiting sufficient corrosion-resistance properties even under high temperature and high humidity. SOLUTION : The preferred rare earth magnet 1 comprises a magnet section 2 containing a rare earth element, a transition element, and boron; and an oxide layer 4 formed at the surface region of the magnet section 2.
