Provided is a secondary battery module that is highly excellent in a heat release performance, ensures an insulation performance, and has reduced weight compared with a conventional battery module. The secondary battery module(100) comprises : many unit cells(10) arranged at regular intervals; and walls(26) that are disposed between the unit cells(10), provide a circulation passage of a heat transfer medium, and are formed of magnesium alloy. The wall(26) is formed of magnesium alloy comprising aluminum, zinc, zirconium, and a small amount of rare earth metal and impurities. The zirconium is present within the magnesium alloy in an amount of 2.0-10.0wt%.
