Provided is an earth composition for ceramic ware, which requires a reduced firing temperature as compared to other earth compositions generally used in ceramic ware, is well turned into porcelain with no use of glaze, and shows various colors ranging from a brown color to a black color. The earth composition for ceramic ware comprises 100 parts by weight of a scoria material and 10-80 parts by weight of clay. In the earth composition, the scoria material comprises : 50.85 wt% of SiO2; 13.48 wt% of Al2O3; 11.89 wt% of Fe2O3; 5.35 wt% of MgO; 2.97 wt% of Na2O; 1.39 wt% of K2O; 0.06 wt% of P2O5; 2.14 wt% of TiO2; and 0.14 wt% of MnO, ignition loss being 9.22 wt%. Additionally, the clay comprises : 63.41 wt% of SiO2; 17.35 wt% of Al2O3; 5.21 wt% of Fe2O3; 0.98 wt% of MgO; 0.45 wt% of C1O; 0.99 wt% of Na2O; 2.04 wt% of K2O; 1.24 wt% of TiO2; and 0.03 wt% of MnO, ignition loss being 8.30 wt%.
