PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a steel having excellent corrosion resistance to a molten Zn alloy. SOLUTION : The steel having excellent corrosion resistance to a molten Zn alloy has a composition comprising, by mass, ≤0.5% C, ≤1% Si, ≤2% Mn, ≤0.2% P, ≤0.05% S and 1.2 to 20% Ni, and, further comprising one or more kinds selected from 0.0001 to 0.01% Mg, 0.0001 to 0.01% Ca and 0.0001 to 0.01% rare earth metals, and the balance iron with inevitable impurities.
