PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a cosmetic composition which demonstrates an original bright color effect unobtainable by using a conventional fluorescent substance.SOLUTION : The cosmetic composition is prepared by compounding a mechano-luminescent material and an adhesive polymer into a medium allowable for cosmetics. The mechano-luminescent material is preferably selected from among lanthanoid complexes and chelate compounds; aluminates, silicates, and aluminosilicates, all doped with a rare earth ion; and zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, cadmium sulfate, and zinc oxide, all doped with a transition metal or a rare earth ion.COPYRIGHT : (C)2006, JPO&NCIPI
