PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To assure excellent magnetic characteristic such as residual magnetic flux density and coercive force or the like, control grain growth in the sintering process, and expand the range of sintering temperature. SOLUTION : The rare earth permanent magnet comprises R of 25 mass% to 35 mass% (R is one or two or more kinds of rare earth elements), Co of 0 to 2 mass%, B of 0.5 mass% to 4.5 mass%, one or two or more kinds of elements selected from Cu and Al of 0.02 mass% to 0.5 mass%, Ga of 0.05 mass% to 0.25 mass%, O of 0.03 mass% to 0.2 mass%, and Fe and inevitable impurity of the composition consisting of the remainder. In above composition, C is in the range of 0.03 mass% to 0.1 mass%, while N is in the range of 0.02 mass% to 0.05 mass%. COPYRIGHT : (C)2006, JPO&NCIPI
