PURPOSE : Provided is a yellow-earth mortar containing natural materials, which emits far-infrared rays useful for a human body, offers a superior radiant heating effect and moisture control capability. CONSTITUTION : The yellow-earth mortar used as Chinese medicines is prepared by mixing 69-71wt% of yellow-earth powder, 19-21wt% of elvan powder, 2-3.5wt% of fiber, 2.5-3wt% of slaked lime, 3-4.5wt% of crude drugs, and approximately 0.5-1.5wt% of horizontal mortar material for horizontalizing the yellow-earth mortar for use in plastering the base of an architectural structure. A preferred coating thickness of the yellow-earth mortar is in a range of 1 to 4mm to prevent the coating from easily being cracked. © KIPO 2006
