FIELD : ecology; power engineering.
SUBSTANCE : invention relates to ecology and power engineering, in particular to extraction of hydrogen sulfide, sulfur, hydrogen, non-ferrous and rare metals from the deep waters of the Black Sea. Method is based on mixing in containers of heated seawater with portions of cold bottom water or water with a bottom suspension, which leads to a decrease in the solubility of hydrogen sulfide and intensifies the process of deposition of a layer of coagulated sulfur, non-ferrous and rare-earth metals. To implement this method, a pump with a valve, electrolyser, boiler, and mooring devices are mounted on a drifting vessel. Pump lifts portions of cold bottom hydrogen sulphide-containing water or water with a bottom suspension via an airlift effect along a vertical multisection pipeline with a bottom suspension floor disintegrator. Horizontal part of the pipeline is equipped with branches with valves. Boiler is used to heat the outside water from the sea surface, to heat the containers and maintain a controlled temperature in them. Containers with lids are placed on carrying ships. Containers are repeatedly filled with heated seawater, and then with portions of cold bottom hydrogen sulfide-containing water or water with a bottom suspension. Excess water in the containers after each batch filling is extracted by a pump through a vertical tube passing into the inside of a container through its lid. Extracted water is directed to the boiler. Heating of water in the boiler is carried out by burning the hydrogen obtained in the electrolyser.
EFFECT : technical result consists in implementation of safe extraction of energy and mineral resources.
