PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a glass composition which has an effect of suppressing positive ions and an effect of amplifying negative ions, so as to largely and continuously generate the ions, and simultaneously radiates far-infrared rays. SOLUTION : A mixture of a glass base material, a mineral comprising rare elements radiating extremely fine radioactive rays, and either tourmaline or far-infrared ceramics is melted and formed, so as to be a glass composition. The glass composition can suppress and reduce positive ions, amplify negative ions and largely and continuously generate the same, and simultaneously amplify far-infrared rays and sustainably radiate the same.
