PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a perovskite multiple oxide small in the lowering of specific surface area and the deterioration of activation even if being exposed in a state of a high temperature for a long time and suitable for a catalyst.
SOLUTION : The perovskite multiple oxide is efficiently manufactured by heat-treating a precursor of an amorphous material containing a rear earth element R, a transition metal element T and at least one kind selected from Zr and Mo and has a structure in which a part of the transition metal element T in a multiple oxide phase of perovskite (RTO3) is replaced by at least one kind of Zr and Mo and is suitably used as a material for a waste gas cleaning catalyst.
