PURPOSE : A luminescence glass jewel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to allow the user to permanently and safely use the jewel without anxiety of wear, and to enable the jewel to continuously emit light for a long time. CONSTITUTION : The luminescence glass jewel comprises a jewel body(100) having a glass tube shape formed with an insertion recess at one side thereof, a luminescence filling material(200), and a cap(300) for sealing the insertion recess. The luminescence filling material is obtained by mixing a luminescence pigment and a hardener. The pigment consists of powder-type thermoplastic resin and rare earth elements. Such a luminescence glass jewel is manufactured by molding the jewel body, preparing the luminescence filling material, filling the material inside the insertion recess of the jewel body, and sealing the insertion recess by coupling the cap after the material is hardened.
