PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a high weather resistant magnetic particle and its manufacturing method enhancing the weather resistance of a rare earth-bond magnet by depositing a phosphate coating on the surface of a magnet alloy particle with crushing it, and also to provide a resin composition for the rare earth-bond magnet. SOLUTION : The method for manufacturing the weather resistant rare earth-iron series magnet particle with its surface deposited by the phosphate coating through the phosphate coating process comprises : contacting the coarse magnetic particle comprising an iron magnet alloy particle including the rare earth element to a phosphate compound and a coupling agent expressed by a general formula (1) R(m-n)-M-X(n) under the presence of an organic solvent; and coating the phosphate on the magnetic coarse particle by finely crushing. In the formula, the R is an organic group having a hydrocarbon group or a functional group, the X is a hydrolytic group, and the M is a metal element selected from Si, Al, Ti, or Zr. The m is the number of coupling hands, an integer of 2 to 4, and the n shows an integer of 1 to 4.
