PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth injection molding bond magnet wherein rust proofing nature to salt water etc. is superior by forming a phosphate coat on a surface, and a method for manufacturing the magnet. SOLUTION : The rare earth injection molding bond magnet contains magnetic powder (A) and a thermoplastic resin binder (B). On the surface of the magnet, the phosphate coat (C) is formed which contains at least one kind of phosphate selected from Zn2Ca(PO4)2, Zn3(PO4)2 and Mn3(PO4)2, and the film thickness of the phosphate coat (C) is 10-100 nm.
