The invention relates to previously known surgical instruments which are provided with a gas delivery device (10) for supplying a rare gas or similar inert gas to a tissue treatment area and a device (20) for rinsing a target zone, especially the tissue treatment area. The aim of the invention is to reduce the technical complexity of such an apparatus. Said aim is achieved by generating the rinsing pressure by means of the inert gas of the gas delivering device (10).
