Polysulfide mixture comprises at least two dibenzoate salts (I). The amount of (I) having pentane-1, 5-diyl-bis(sulfanediyl) is at least 80%, preferably 93-99%. Polysulfide mixture comprises at least two dibenzoate salts of formula (I). The amount of (I) having pentane-1, 5-diyl-bis(sulfanediyl) is at least 80%, preferably 93-99%. K1 +>, K2 +>monovalent cation or n-th part of n-valent cation; and m : 0-2. Independent claims are also included for : (1) producing the polysulfide mixture comprising contacting 2-sulfidobenzoate salt of formula (III) with disulfonate salt of formula (K5 +>SO 3 ->-S-[CH 2] 6-S-SO 3 ->K5 +>) (IV) at -5 to 19[deg] C, preferably 0-10[deg] C; (2) a rubber mixture comprising at least one rubber and the polysulfide mixture; (3) producing the rubber mixture comprising mixing at least one rubber and the polysulfide mixture; (4) producing a vulcanizate, comprising vulcanizing the rubber mixture at melt temperatures of 100-200[deg] C, preferably 130-180[deg] C; (5) the vulcanizate, which is obtained by vulcanization of the rubber mixture; (6) a rubber product, preferably tires comprising at least one rubber vulcanizate; (7) a vehicle comprising the rubber product; (8) an additive composition comprising at least one sulfur containing alkoxysilane, preferably bis(triethoxysilylpropyl) tetrasulfane, bis(triethoxysilyl-propyl) disulfane, 3-(triethoxysilyl)-1-propanethiol, polyether functionalized mercaptosilane or thioester functionalized alkoxysilane and the polysulfide mixture; and (9) reducing the rolling resistance of tires, comprising concentrating the non- or partially cross-linked rubber mixture, which is used as a starting material for at least one part of the tire, and the polysulfide mixture and vulcanizing the mixture. K3 +>, K4 +>monovalent cation or n-th part of n-valent cation, preferably H +>, alkali metal cation, preferably Li +>, Na +>, K +>, alkaline earth metal cation, preferably 1/2Mg 2> +>, 1/2Ca 2> +>, 1/3 Al 3> +>, n-th part of n-valent rare earth metal cation or Zn 2> +>; and K5 : monovalent cation or n-th part of n-valent cation, preferably alkali metal cation, preferably Li +>, Na +>, K +>, 1/2 alkaline earth metal cation, preferably 1/2Mg 2> +>, 1/2Ca 2> +>, 1/3 Al 3> +>, n-th part of n-valent rare earth metal cation or Zn 2> +>.
