PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth magnet exhibiting excellent rust prevention performance as compared with a conventional one. ŽSOLUTION : The rare earth magnet has such a structure as a protective layer 5 is formed on the surface of a magnet element 3.
