PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To improve a fried-up condition of food using an edible oil to be used for deep-fried food or the like, to reduce the degradation of the edible oil itself, to fry food excellently even with a lower frying temperature and to provide a technology excellent in safety of foods and friendly to the environment. SOLUTION : This activated ceramic is produced by blending powdery earth clay, a powdery substance emitting far-infrared rays, a powdery substance having slight radiating nature and powdery titanium oxide, and firing and forming the mixture.
