The invention relates to methods for producing alkaline earth phosphates and alkaline earth oxides from bones and/or fish bones. The bones and/or fish bones are heated to a temperature of 1000˚C or more under the exclusion of oxygen, i.e. in a reducing atmosphere, a process during which released organic molecular chains are separated into gas molecules. The obtained gases and/or vapors are sucked off, desulfurized, and cracked.
