PURPOSE : A construction method of a retaining wall is provided to increase stiffness of a retaining wall and seepage cutoff effect and to construct a retaining wall easily by overlapping concrete columns continuously and simply. CONSTITUTION : A construction method of a retaining wall comprises the steps of : perforating a construction hole on the ground using a punching machine and installing an outer casing(10) in the construction hole of the ground; installing a spacer(20) at one side of the outer casing installed in the construction hole and perforating a construction hole at the other side of the spacer, and installing another outer casing, and repeating the installation of spacers and outer casings; after arranging the outer casings on the ground at regular intervals and inserting primary inner casings(30) to the respective outer casings; pulling out the outer casing from the construction hole; perforating a construction hole between the primary inner casings using a punching machine and inserting an outer casing; installing a secondary inner casing(40) to the inside of the outer casing installed between the primary inner casings; pulling out the outer casing from the construction hole; installing stiffener to the inside of the primary and secondary inner casings to increase the stiffness of a retaining wall manufactured with concrete; placing concrete to the inside of the primary and secondary inner casings; pulling out the secondary inner casing from the construction hole before the concrete placed in the primary and secondary inner casings is cured; and pulling out the primary inner casing from the construction hole. © KIPO 2008
