PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To carry out high-precision and high-speed cutting while effectively supplying a small amount of a grinding fluid to a cutting point, compared with conventional multi-cutting methods, in multi-cutting a rare earth magnet. SOLUTION : A plurality of cutting grindstone blades having a grindstone outer peripheral cutting edge in the outer peripheral edge of a thin-plate disk- or a thin-plate doughnut disk-shaped base plate are arranged on the axis of rotation at predetermined spacings in the axial direction. An inlet for a grinding fluid is formed on the side of one end, and a plurality of slits corresponding to individual cutting grindstone blades are formed on the side of the other end. A grinding fluid supplying nozzle so configured that the outer peripheral portion of each cutting grindstone blade can be inserted into each slit is used. With the outer peripheral portion of each cutting grindstone blade inserted into each slit, the grinding fluid is introduced into the cutting fluid supplying nozzle from the inlet for the grinding fluid, and a rare earth magnet is cut with rotating cutting grindstone blades while spraying the grinding fluid from individual slits.
