Cement paste with water holding capacity for cold semi rigid pavement

PURPOSE : A paste composition for an ambient temperature semi-rigid pavement is provided to show excellent compressive strength, flexural strength, tensile strength and adhesive strength and to improve drying shrinkage and adhesion as well as water retention property. CONSTITUTION : The paste composition with water retention property for an ambient temperature semi-rigid pavement comprises a binder and an admixture, wherein the binder is produced by mixing 70-90 %% by weight of early strength cement with 10-30 %% by weight of flyash, and the admixture is produced by admixing 10-20 %% by weight of a high absorbent polymer to 100 %% by weight of re-emulsion type resin powder. Preferably, the high absorbent polymer is a polyacrylic amide, and the re-emulsion type resin powder is at least one selected from the group consisting of PVA, SBR, PVA-VeoVa, PAE and EVA. © KIPO 2007
