PURPOSE : Provided are lanthanide-chelated porphyrins with porphyrin-linked dendrons having light-harvesting effect and a preparation method thereof. The compounds have light-harvesting effect, enhanced solubility to polymer medium, and no interaction between ions due to clustering of rare-earth metals, so that they provide novel compounds having enhanced light-harvesting effect and luminescence strength. CONSTITUTION : The lanthanide-chelated porphyrins with porphyrin-linked dendrons having light-harvesting effect represented by formula (1) are provided, wherein Ln is Er, Yb or Nd; M1 is 2H, Zn or Pt; and M2 is 2H, Zn or Pt. The lanthanide-chelated porphyrins with porphyrin-linked dendrons is metalloporphyrin-lanthanide complex of formula (2), formula (3), formula (4), formula (5), formula (6) or formula (7). © KIPO 2006
