The invention relates to an aqueous anti-freeze agent containing 10 to 50 wt.%% of one or several carboxylic acids, preferably aliphatic dicarboxylic acids with 4 to 12 C atoms in the form of the alkali metal ammonium or earth alkali metal salt. The salts are applied preferably in combination with at least one further substance. Anti-freeze agents with a good frost protection, good thermal conductivity and good corrosion protection are obtained.© KIPO & WIPO 2007
