Provided is a method for manufacturing carbon aerogels. The method for manufacturing carbon aerogels in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps : providing a first mixed solution by mixing an organic solvent, at least one among metallic compounds represented by the chemical formula 1, and/or a boron nitride compound; dispersing the first mixed solution; providing a second mixed solution by mixing the first mixed solution with a carbon precursor; forming hydrogels by making the second mixed solution into gels; forming aerogels by drying the hydrogels; and supplying the carbon aerogels by treating the aerogels with heat.
