COMPOSITION FOR COATING FOOTPATH BLOCK PAVEMENT AND COATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE : Provided is a coating composition for recycling sidewalk blocks, which is coated onto the surface of sidewalk blocks via a simple process under a strong adhesion force, shows excellent durability and improved ground earth connection property. CONSTITUTION : The composition for recycling sidewalk blocks comprises : 60-75 wt%% of a self-curable mineral substance selected from crystalline silica, amorphous calcium silicate and portland cement; 20-38 wt%% of a binder obtained by diluting a vinyl ester resin with methyl methacrylate monomer to a solid content of 70-90%% and performing radical polymerization thereof by using benzoyl peroxide and amine; and 2-5 wt%% of an inorganic pigment selected from iron oxide, titanium dioxide, barium sulfate and barium carbonate. The mineral substance has a particle size of 0.04-0.8mm. © KIPO 2007
